The Odyssey, does not have me, Aphrodite, in it but I am the godess of love,beauty,and pleasure,but there is many stories of love in this story. Penelope and Odysseus is a very good example of love. Penelope is the wife of Odysseus, she is always very devoted and loyal to Odysseus. When Odysseus left on his very long journey, Penelope had many many suitors constantly bugging her to mary them while Odysseus was gone but she turned all of them down. For 20 years she waited for Odysseus and when he returned she left with him to be queen in his land even though Odysseus could gain very little from marrying her but he still loved her unconditionally Another story of love is Circre and Odysseus. At first she was trying to kill and hurt Odysseus and his men. But then she let him and his men stay for a yeare and treated them while they were on her island. I am happy to contribute to these peoples lives and bring them together in love.
